My husband Billy and I celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary this year and enjoy our home in Andover with our 16 year old son, Jesse.
I am a Licensed Nursing Assistant and an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). I chose these two professions because I care about people. I ran for the Legislature because I care about our state.
- In the year before I was elected, state spending had increased by 17.5%. This must stop!
- The Legislature proposed huge increases in gas taxes and tolls to pay for road repairs while they continued to divert gas tax dollars to other areas. This must stop!
- The federal "No Child Left Behind" mandate is leaving our children behind by taking over local control and sending the authority to Washington. This must stop!.
